Rhys Nelson has arrived!

He's here!!!
 Having a newborn is the most exhilarating, amazing, exhausting, incredible experience ever. I love him more than anything in the world and even more every day.
There's so much I could say about the past few weeks but I feel like I am still processing it all myself. It's definitely the most life changing experience ever.
All I know is I'm so in love with this little guy.
I love that each day I'm getting to know him better and better. He's starting to look at me more and make new sounds. It's the best:)
Anyway here's a few pictures I've taken in between spit ups and diaper changes, enjoy!

Baby room, belly, hubby, and cake!

So here we are, only a few weeks away from our baby's birth :) We finally have the room in place so I thought I would share it with you all.
His name is Rhys Nelson.
It's pronounced like Reese :) It's actually the male version of Reese.
Anyway, enjoy!

and here's an update on the belly (37 weeks)-don't mind the wrinkles in my shirt :)

As all of you moms out there know, pregnancy isn't a piece of cake for most of us, but it's such an amazing journey at the same time. I definitely couldn't have done it without the incredible support of my handsome husband. He's been so patient, caring, and just an amazing friend to me. I love this guy and think he's pretty dang cute too :)

My family and friends really came together and threw us a couple of bangin baby showers. Thanks so much for everyone that came and helped give Rhys a good start.

30 weeks

I feel like I've been pregnant forever yet I can't believe I'm 10 or less weeks away!

Now his little kicks are turning into him moving across my belly.

I'm just so ready to see him and what he looks like!  It's the weirdest feeling ever to be in love with someone you've never seen and know that all of your time is going to be with someone you've never met. How do you prepare for that? 

As far as the physical end of things, everything is looking good and normal which I am so thankful for.

I have definitely hit the 3rd trimester tho! Pretty exhausted all of the time, and getting off the couch is no easy task!
